How to Fix Failed to Connect to a Windows Services?

Failing to connect to the Windows services is one of the most irritating issues. If you fail log-in is an administrative account as well or after logging in, the system responds very slow, then the issue is a bit tricky. If you are facing these kinds of issue, then follow the instructions given below.

Windows service

Check System Event Notification Service

  • First of all, launch the Run section.
  • After that, input ‘service.msc.’ into it and hit the Enter key.
  • Go to the ‘System Event Notification Service’ and right-click on it.
  • Then you should click on the Restart button.
  • When you see Restart grayed out, select the Start button instead.
  • You have to reach again the ‘System Event Notification Service’ and right-click on it, then select the Properties option.
  • Later, reach the Startup type option and set to Automatic in it then choose the Apply button.
  • Now, reboot the system to check whether the issue has gone or not.

Restore Winsock Catalog

  • Open the Run section.
  • After that, input ‘cmd’ into it and hit the Enter key.
  • Then hold the ‘Shift + Control + Enter’ at the same time.
  • Later, you will see an elevated Command Prompt and then input the pursuing command: netshwinsock reset.
  • Thereafter hit the Enter key.
  • Noe, reboot the system to check whether the issue has fixed or not.

Upgrade Video Card Driver

  • Go to the Driver Easy and then install it on your system.
  • After that, reach the Driver Easy installer and run it.
  • Then you should select Scan Now.
  • Driver Easy will start the scanning process of your system and identify any issue drivers.
  • Click on the Update All button to download the right version and install automatically of every drive that is outdated or missing on the system.
  • Now, reboot the system to check whether the issue has solved or not.

Uninstall Update KB2952664

  • Hold the Win + R keys at the same time on your system to launch the Run section.
  • After that, input ‘control’ into it and hit the Enter key.
  • You should choose the option of Uninstall a program beneath the Programs option once View by is chosen.
  • Go to the ‘View installed updates’ and clicked on it.
  • You have to locate and right-click on the update with KB2952664.
  • Thereafter, uninstall it and reboot the system to check the error.

Delete klhkum.dll

  • Hold the Control + Shift + Esc keys to launch Task Manager.
  • After that, select the section of Startup and locate the klhkum.dll procedures.
  • Select and right-click on it then select the Disable option.
  • You should launch its location of the file and remove it lastingly.
  • Now, reboot the system to check the error.
