How to Create Users in MYOB Essentials?

With the help of MYOB Essentials program, a user can easily manage his cash flow and ATO compliance requirements.  This saves the precious time of the user and allows him to do some extra activity other than daily work. From small to medium businesses, this software is useful to both. This software takes care of GST, invoices, payroll, and reporting of your business. This program can be linked to your bank account to make bank transactions an easy task. This also means that a person has to spend less time in entering data. If you are already using this accounting software and want to know how to create users, then follow the below mentioned steps to complete this process.

  • Turn on your laptop, type the Administrator password and hit Enter button.
  • Double-click the icon on MYOB application and reach to its main dashboard.
  • Now, make a click on your Business name from the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Doing this will open a drop-down list. Select Users from the list.
  • The Users page will appear on the screen, with a list of all the users for your MYOB Essentials business.
  • Go to Invite a user, this will open a new page for inviting a person.
  • Now, you have to enter the details for the user like his first name, last name, privilege, and the Email address.
  • All current MYOB Essentials users will be able to access this software at the same time.
  • You can send the invitation to other members also using the same method. After providing all necessary details, click ‘Send Invitation’.   
  • Now, the invitee’s information has been added to the list of the Users page, with the status of Invited.

  1. The invitee may accept the invitation by creating a new user login,
  2. He may accept it by using an existing user login, or
  3. He may decline the invitation as per his wish.

  • To set up more users repeats the process from step 6.
