How to Create Customer and Add a Supplier Card In MYOB?

If you are using MYOB application and you want to record a purchase of your supplier, in order to do so you need to create a card first that has complete detail of an individual or the company you deal with.

You can follow these given steps or you can also complete this process over the phone by connecting with an expert at MYOB support team.
 
Steps to follow:

If you are already logged into MYOB application then go to “Card File” command centre and there you have to click on “Card List” and a new window will open.

Now you need to click “New” and information screen will open.
 
Now you have to choose “Supplier” from its card type list and then choose a designation like an individual or a company.

Next, Click the name of the person; in case, you use some codes then Click the code for the person in “Card ID”.

Once you do so, enter the contact details of the supplier, in case, you want to enter more information in its details section then choose “Line 2” from “Locations” list and enter the detail.

Now go to “Card Details” tab and type the information about supplier and you can also add a picture.

Now reach to “Buy Details Tab” and enter your buying details. 
 
  • Buying information.
  • Tax/GST information.
  • Credit Terms.

Next, you have to click on the “Payment Details” tab and you need to Click the supplier’s bank details and you can pay them electronically. You can also indicate them how you wish to send payment advice to a supplier.

Once you do so, you need to go to “History” tab and there you have to enter dollar value of the inventory or any other product you bought prior to your conversion month. You also have an option to enter a date and contact of the person became a supplier.

Once you are done with the above-given information then click on “Ok” to save this information.
