Procedure to Setup Brother Printer MLF L8850-CDW

Here we will provide the complete procedure that helps you to set up your brother printer. To set up your printing machine follow the given instructions.

Step 1. Load the sheet on Paper tray

• First of all, you need to unpack the entire material from your machine and pull out the paper tray completely from the machine to load paper.

• Then, you need to adjust the tray as per the size of the paper then open the cover of the paper tray from the above-left corner. Press the slider key at the left of the cover to remove it successfully. 

• Gently, click and slide the paper side guides the paper size on your Brother printing machine. Also, make sure that the triangular mark on the paper side guideline up with the mark for the paper size which you are using.

• Fan the stack of paper walls to ignore paper jams and misfeeds. Make sure that any sheet inside is not curled.

• Now put the paper on the tray print side down and adjust the paper side guides so that they touch the side of the paper stack.

• After doing this, verify that the paper is up to the level in the tray and beneath the highest paper line. Do not push the sheet too far as over lifting the tray may cause paper jams.

• Close the tray cover and push the tray back into the machine.

• Shut down the output tray and push the tray into the printing machine until it gets locked into the place.

Step 2. Connect the power cord and telephone line to switch on the Printer

• Lift the scanner cover until it locks properly in the open position and then connect the telephone line cord. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the jack on the machine and other cord into the cable channel of the machine.

• Close the scanner cover by using the folder holder on every side and connect the power cord to the wall socket. Press the power key on your Brother printing device to switch on your printer.
