1.   Take out the USB device from the computer.

2.   Pair it to the console.

3.   Now, you will get the USB in the Xbox dashboard.

4.   Go to the USB device by going to the Xbox dashboard.

5.   You will get the three options on the screen.

• The first one is the Emergency Linux.
• The second option is to Remove Linux.
• The third option is the Install Linux.

6.   Choose the Memory option.

7. Choose the USB device.

8. Press Install Linux.

9. Choose the Copy option.

10. Select the Xbox hard disk.

1.   Place the game copy of Mechassault.

2.   Go in the hard drive of the Xbox dashboard.

3.   Choose the Emergency Linux file.

4.   In case you have done all the steps mentioned above properly, you need to start the Xbox again.

5.   You will get a black screen with the white letters.

6.   Go to the address 192.168.0.3.

7.   Sign in with the root as your username.

8.   Enter the password.

9.   Once you have signed in, enter the below-mentioned command xbox_tool-a for showing the hard disk key.

10. Start downloading the Linux copy.

11. You need to place it into the DVD-R.

12. Put the DVD-R in the Xbox for the booting process.

13. Enter su to sign in as the admin.

14. You need to start using the Xbox as your password.

15. Enter XBOXLinuxInstaller in the search bar.

16. Go through the guidelines to finish the setup procedure.
