How much do you pay for a boat slip?

by Jason Watts Content Writer

Renting a boat slip at a marina is a great way to enjoy many of the luxuries of living on land while relishing your sailboat. To rent a slip for the day, expect to pay $2 or $3 per hour. For nightly rentals, look at $4 to $6 per night. If you are renting per month, you can expect to pay between $20 and $25 per foot per month. Annual rentals will generally cost around $23 or $24 per foot per month. Prices may vary depending on location, amenities, and reservation time.

Many marinas are versatile in what they allow you to do, but prices will vary dramatically depending on your choices. It all depends on location and size. Some marinas have flat rates, some charge by foot (boat length). And of course, length of stay and amenities also affect cost.

The cost to store your boat in an open storage lot will be much less than if you keep it in a slip at a marina. I like to keep my boat in a marina as it offers a lot of lucrative amenities. Are you having thoughts like what is the best boat marinas to rent a slip near me? The marina I love the most is The Trident Marine Group. They offer 24-hour security with exclusive amenities on-site—Dockage Services, Boat Storage, Yacht Butler, Restaurants, Complimentary W-FI, etc. I would suggest check out their website and find out everything they offer to slip owners.
