How getting IP1 License contribute to betterment of India’s Infrastructure?

by Gaurav Bansal Company Registration Consultants in Delhi

Rising cell towers and sky high internet repeaters – when you think of these things, you automatically start to imagine the connection that they are responsible. The Infrastructure providers of these things have always been there to pushing the envelope of India’s technological power. And now, with the IP License, you can be the part of it.

India, in its bid to make the businesses more accessible, has provided a simple method of obtaining IP1 license for those who wish to provide infra as a service. It has worked in a bidirectional manner:

1.       At one, there are entrepreneurs with big pockets, who can now act as infrastructure provider.

2.       At the other end, it’s the nation, which due to the presence of more infrastructure as a service providers can benefit from the development that comes with it.

But how does it truly influence the nation? In this article, we are going to look into how getting IP1 License contribute to the betterment of Infrastructure in India.

Reason Number 1: Paving a way for the digital economy

When talking about IP license procedure, we are not talking about active infrastructure, we are talking about passive one. Those consists of:

1.       Cell Towers

2.       Base Stations

3.       Right of Way

4.       Duct Space

5.       Antennas

Each one of the above Infra as a service provides one thing, internet access. The larger the number of cell towers, the wider the connections. The more base stations are active, the better control over the network. The bigger Right of Way present, there is better access to internet resources. And when you have more duct space, you have a way to implement more of those resources in small places. All these work in tandem to push digitization of the economy.

Reason Number 2: It makes India more connected to the world

Ever since we opened our doors to foreign trade back in 1990, we have been constantly faced with the challenge to keep up with the international technology. With Infrastructure service providers, and the IP 1 License that’s required to start such businesses, we now have a way to keep up. By establishing infrastructures that work towards the betterment of telecom industries, we make India more connected with the rest of the world.

Reason Number 3:  Ease of getting the license has removed monopoly

Development can’t happen when the resources to control it only lies with a few. The central government understood that. That realization moved it to provide the IP1 licence with the aid of Department of Telecommunication. Even though the IP1 License application form is offline, the process itself is a simple one. Only minor details – including financial ones – are required for a simple business dreamer to integrate themselves into the telecom infrastructure of the country.

Final reason – The process has become simpler

Let’s do some mental maths here. When we say the IP1 License procedure has gotten easier, we mean to say that the its requirements have become lesser. Once upon a time, only a select few could get the license. It caused a major instance of monopoly. With only few licenses to go around, it didn’t achieve the connection India needed at that time. And because of the lack of required connection, there was no talk of a digital economy. But with the simplification of the process, digital economy has become a buzzword of our daily life. Why?

1.       India is now more connected because there are more cell towers because of more infrastructure providers.

2.       The increased number of Infra as a service providers have removed the monopoly that previously had.

3.       And as the monopoly is removed, the market is now more competitive – prompting the infrastructure providers to push for more quality into the products they are providing.

It has all happened due the process simplification, and India can now stand tall and is standing that way among the nations with more digital strength.

Conclusion

Becoming an Infrastructure provider is not just being there for the current stakeholders of the telecom industry. It’s to become an integral part of the country’s growth. IP 1 license, and the ease of process to acquire it, has made it so that India now stands among the most digitized nations of India. Would you join with us in this initiative.
