How Can I Solve The Problem of Gmail is not Receiving Emails?

Gmails is the email service provided without charging a single penny from the users and is used by many people across the globe, it can be accessed by using any android or iOS device.

There are various people who use it on iOS devices but some of them complain about the problem of Gmail not receiving emails on the iPhone.

Make a Captcha reset

If you have added Gmail to your iPhone but you are not able to receive the emails on it then it can be one of the security features of Gmail that locks the account when a user is using it on a location not known to the server.

To get rid of this issue by following this method

  • Open the browser on the iPhone.
  • Visit the reCaptcha account page.
  • Launch the website of Gmail and log into the account.

As soon as you enter into the account, the device (iPhone) will be remembered and account access will be enabled.

Enable the IMAP settings


You should make sure that the IMAP settings should be enabled in the Gmail account’s settings. You can make a change in the settings by following this process.

  • Visit the website of Gmail and sign into the account.
  • Navigate to the Settings section by tapping on the gear icon.
  • Tap on Forwarding and POP/IMAP option.
  • In the IMAP Access section, select the option of Enable IMAP.
  • Tap on Save Changes.

Delete and re-add the Gmail account

You can remove and then re-add the Gmail account from the iPhone to get the solution to this problem.

You can accomplish this by using the below-mentioned process.

Remove account

  • Open the Gmail on the iPhone device.
  • Navigate to the menu and go to the manage accounts section.
  • Select Edit and then tap on Remove.
  • Give confirmation.

Re-add the account

  • Install and then open the Gmail app.
  • Sign in to the account and then navigate to Manage Accounts.
  • Select the Gmail account then turn on the permission.
