Ulster Museum

One of the best galleries that is well worth checking out during your trip to the city, is surely the amazing Ulster Museum. This amazing museum offers so much to explore and discover. Located at the heart of the city, with free entry to all main exhibits, you can find anything from enormous reconstructed skeletons of dinosaurs through to ancient Egyptian mummies, alongside some amazing works of art, from Northern Ireland and beyond. A home to so many educational resources, you can find out about local and regional history and beyond. Check out current photography exhibition “Things Left Unsaid” running until 15th May.

Titanic Belfast

A visually stunning exhibition and a stunning feat of architectural innovation – this amazing museum can be found at the heart of Belfast’s Titanic Quarter, this museum celebrates Belfast’s association with the fated Titanic ship. The exhibition worth going to is surely the “Titanic Experience” which boasts an interactive recreation of the Titanic, allowing you to wander around the decks, the cabin and the staff quarters.

North Down Museum

If you fancy a slightly more rural museum experience, then why not visit the amazing North Down Museum, located in some stunning, sprawling countryside, this amazing venue can be found in the natural trails of Castle Park in Bangor and is dedicated to celebrating and illuminating Northern Ireland’s past. Admission is free and it is certainly worth the visit.
