Gravel Production Line Equipment and Gravel Process Design

Gravel production line is an important production lines that processing all kinds of gravel aggregate. It is necessary to choose more professional manufacturers to design gravel process, so that ensure the whole process flow has compact process structure, large capacity, close cooperation between equipment and high production efficiency.

1The equipment of gravel production line

At present, the common gravel production lines consist of jaw crusher, cone crusher, impact crusher, hammer crusher and some auxiliary equipment. In a gravel production line, not every equipment must be needed, but need to combine user’s processing needs to configure. Jaw crusher is usually used as first-stage crushing equipment, that is coarse-crushing equipment, hammer crusher can be used as first-stage crushing equipment, too. Specific configuration needs to according to user’s required capacity of equipment and the characteristics of aggregates. Cone crusher and impact crusher are usually used as second-stage crushing equipment, mainly responsible for fine operation of aggregates. Screener is responsible for control the whole grade of finished product. Feeder is in charge of feeding. Conveyor is responsible for the ore materials and finished products transport work among the various procedures.

2、Common gravel process flow design

(1)Jaw crusher+cone crusher: It is a common design form that consists of jaw crusher, cone crusher and relevant auxiliary production equipment. Because jaw crusher has strong coarse crushing power, it can easily crush various large-sized and high-hardness ores. Cone crusher can crush medium-sized ore into particles whose size below 10mm, it is usually used as fine crushing equipment.

(2)Jaw crusher+impact crusher: This combination is also a common form. Impact crusher has strong impact effect, so the aggregates can be processed into cubic-shape product. What’s more, the crushing cavity of impact crusher is deep. Impact crusher has the features such as large processing capacity, simple structure, strong operating ability and so on.   

(3)Hammer crusher+tertiary crusher: Hammer crusher is also a common equipment in coarse crushing stage. Hammer crusher has small volume, simple structure, simplify configuration, hammerhead’s high-speed hitting can reshape the ore. Hammer crusher coarse crushing combined with tertiary crusher fine operation, we can get good particle, uniformly sized and more detailed aggregate products.

Common gravel process flow: large-sized ore needed to be crushed by coarse crusher firstly, after coarse crushing, the ore can be sent for screening process, the qualified ore that through the screening requirements can enter the tertiary crusher for fine crushing operation. As the same, finished aggregates products that after fine crushing operation also needed to be sent to screener for screening process, only finished aggregates products that qualified, meet the finished product specifications can be transported to warehouse by belt conveyor. If not, return to fine crushing operation, until being qualified.
