Google Pixel 2 XL owners are now reporting screen flashing issues. According to a post on Google Product Forums, some users are reporting that the Pixel 2 XL’s screen flashes when they unlock their device.

Some users have also reported that screen flashes sometimes when it wakes up to show notifications. One user has posted a video, which shows the iphone 6 parts brightly flashes few second before it wakes up. The user further added this does not happen all the time, but he has noticed this issue after the purchasing the device.

Further, the user notes that restarting the Pixel 2 XL does seem to help, but then the issue kicks the very next morning. The user notes that performing a safe mode or a factory reset does not help. However, turning off the ambient display does seem to work, at least for now.

Previously, some Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL owners reported that they are having issues with the Android Auto and poor quality audio while recording videos. Most of the Pixel 2 devices users have reported random Android Auto crashes. Multiple users say that they have experienced it while using the Google Play Music and Google Maps, due to which users have to reconnect their devices after the crash.

The Google Pixel 2 XL users also reported that their units are having burn-in issues with the new iphone 5s parts P-OLED display and other devices are making clicking and high pitch frequency sounds. Screen burn-in happens when a ghost image from the previous application can be seen or the image of the home screen is visible in the background after launching an application.
