Google Christmas gift to Mozilla - keep me as the default search engine
Mozilla on Tuesday said it was a deal making Google the default search engine of the nonprofit open-source Firefox Web browsing software has refreshed.
I think this is a Mozilla Firefox Christmas gift for letting Google Chrome overtake them as the second leading browser in the world. It is clear that a good current google ever offered his competitor. Now Google chrome can enjoy leverage of his number two in the world while enjoying their Christmas present Mozilla make Google the default search engine.
The renewal comes about three weeks after the previous agreement expired. The two companies earlier a three year deal that expired at the end of November. A few quotes from the Mozilla announcement:
“Under this multiannual agreement, Google Search will continue to be the default search for hundreds of millions of Firefox users all over the world,” said Gary Kovacs, CEO, Mozilla.
“Mozilla is a valuable partner to Google over the years and we look forward to the continuation of this great partnership in the coming years,” said Alan Eustace, Senior Vice President for search, Google.
