Google and the new Page Layout Update

The continuing algorithm changes that Google regularly review and update lead to another change. A few days ago Google officially released its latest change, being refered to as the Page Layout Update by my friends at WebProNews.

It's my interpretation from my primary resource that:

The primary target for this change is for webmasters who place a lot of ads above the fold on their website/s which interfere with or obscure any written content, perhaps even by simply pushing the main body of content below the fold of the webpage. For most of us who follow the guidelines for creating our website designs and presentations with plenty of good relevent content and monetising our pages with a good balance of ads we will not feel any impact to our sites except some may appear to gain a notch or two in the search engine rankings depending on your competition and how their webpages are structured.

The actual amount of websites that latest algorithm change is likely to affect is quoted as less than 1% of searches globally (1% is still a significant amount of webpages and websites that are vunerable)

I'm going to keep this short and simple in my content as I want to share this news with followers and friends and anyone who happens to stumble upon my writing.

Heres my Primary resource (+more resources found here)
