  • Start by opening the folder or the place where the QBWUSER.ini file is stored: Users[Your user name]AppDataLocalIntuitQuickBooks [year].
  • Now, choose the Rename option by right-clicking on the file.
  • Do write OLD at the end of the file while renaming it.
  • Then, also rename EntitlementDataStore.ecml file.
  • Lastly, open the QB application again.
