Dog training is not all about teaching your dog the toughest tricks. Before you head for those you should give your dog some of the basic training and you should be a participant in it. These training methods really help to create a good bond between the dog and the owner. Never say questionable statements in front of your dog, always say the statements in the form of a command. You should start your basic training commands for your dog at an early age. This way he will grasp the command easily and quickly.

Before you start the training, there are certain things that you should consider. Only participate in the training when you want to and you have a nice frame of mind. Never start up when you are feeling tired or when you are irritated. It has a bad effect on the training. When you don’t have the full attention while you are training can have a negative effect on your dog. Start up with the training only when you are in a good mood and have a 100 percent presence of mind.

Don’t make it a time bound. Never begin your training when you know that you have to leave shortly for some other place. This will make you irritated and you will eventually pour it on your dog. You need enough time for the training. SO always make sure to have ample time to go with the flow of the training.

Always make the duration of the training short and give breaks. A dog will get bored with long one hour training. Break this hour into minutes and give breaks. A five minute training everyday will not let the dog get bored and he will not lose interest in the training. You can try small training sessions in every week.

It is best you train your dog after some form of exercise. For example if you train your dog before the exercise, his energy levels are high then and will be wasted in excitement instead of being focused on the training. So, it is better to train your dog when he has done a little bit of warm up that ways he will be much focused and less excited.

Give the rewards. First of all, try to catch up what is the favorite reward of your dog? Every dog love rewards. Try to figure it out what is the favorite thing about your dog. Reward him whenever he is following your command properly. Try to find out something that he really likes.

It is very important to praise your dog. This will make him feel that he has achieved something the reward will be added on to it. You should praise your dog whenever you see that he follows your command or having the behavior you want him to have. Praising your dog in the right way plays a very important in having a successful and right training.

While you are praising your dog accompany it with the voice. This will make him memorize that he is being rewarded for his behavior. Whenever your dog has completed his task, make sure that you praise him. There are various ways of praising your dog. You can make a loud noise showing the excitement after he fetches a ball that you have asked to and then you can pat him on the head slowly.
