China's pipeline gas is mainly shipped from the west to the country, while LNG receiving stations are built on the sea due to the high cost of pipeline gas crossing the oceans and the ever-decreasing cost of shipping LNG and the increasing demand for clean energy from the developed coastal economies in the PRC. LNG in the past few years makes rapid development in China. No matter which kind of gas we need to be used for our daily life, there is no doubt that we cannot leave the pipes behind for its transportation function. For example, domestic imports of natural gas mainly come from three parallel pipelines (starting in 2009) across Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, with an annual capacity of 55 billion cubic meters and an annual supply of 12 billion cubic meters of Shwe pipeline in Myanmar (13 years Operation). This data tells us that high quality steel pipe is needed here!
