CMAT Exam 2016-17 Complete Details
The Common Management Admission Test 2016-17 is conducted by the AICTE to test the candidates based on their management and aptitude skills. This test is conducted as an entrance examination for candidates seeking admissions in Post graduate Management courses across Business schools and Management Institutes in India. The official notice stating the schedule for the CMAT 2016-17 has been released by the AICTE. The CMAT 2016-17 is scheduled to be held on 17th January 2016. The candidates who want to take the test must apply for the same. The CMAT 2016-17 Online Registration will open on 3rd November 2015. The eligible candidates can apply for the same online. The CMAT 2016-17 Application form will be released online. The candidates must fill the application form carefully. The last date to apply for the CMAT 2016-17 is 10th December 2015. The CMAT 2016-17 Application form will be available on the official AICTE/CMAT website.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The candidate must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
The candidates pursuing their graduation in their final year are also eligible to apply for the CMAT 2016-17.
Admission Procedure
The candidates must go through the eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the CMAT 2016-17.
The Application forms will be released online.
The first step is to register with the official AICTE/CMAT website.
The registration process will require them to click on the ‘new user’ option and enter their basic details.
Once the candidate has registered successfully they will receive a 6 digit password via email and through an SMS as well.
The candidate then has to login to their account using their email id and the given password.
The application form will now be displayed.
The candidates must make sure they enter only valid information as any incorrect information may lead to the cancellation of the form.
The application process will only be complete after the payment of the application fees.
Application Fees
The candidates need to make the application fee payment to successfully apply for the CMAT 2016-17.
The application fees for the different categories of candidates is as follows –
General – Rs. 1400 + bank charges
Reserved categories – Rs. 700 + bank charges
The application fees can be paid both online and offline.
The online mode of payment includes credit card/debit card/net banking.
The offline payment can be made using the SBI Bank challan generate at the time of online registration.
