CMAT 2016 Score Card

CMAT Result would be issued by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) for all the candidates who appear in the respective examination to be held on 17 January 2016. Date of the result declaration has been set as 21 January 2016. It can be checked in online mode only on the official website of the examination. Along with the result, candidates would be able to download the scorecard which shall show aggregate and sectional marks obtained in the exam. According to the result, a merit list would be drawn to select candidates for the next round of MBA post graduate program admission. Features of CMAT MBA Exam Result

• Result will show a candidate’s roll number, sectional score, aggregate score, and normalized percentile score.
  
• Against the name of each candidate, arranged in the order of roll number, the aforesaid details shall be mentioned.
  
• Scores obtained in the result would be compared against the cutoff to delimit the candidates in admission process.
  
• Shortlisted candidates would thereafter be called for next selection rounds i.e. group discussion and personal interview.

Assessment and Calculation of Common Management Aptitude Test Result

As per the exam pattern, for each correct answer 4 marks are given and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. The final score so obtained are candidate’s marks in the exam. This calculation is done similarly for sections however their individual score is added separately. Percentile is calculated as per the following formula: ((N- your rank)/N) x 100, where N is the number of candidates who have appeared in the exam. Higher the percentile score better is the chance of admission in the desired program and institute.

How to Check Result of CMAT?

The following steps can be taken by the candidate to check the result and scorecard of the examination. It is necessary to have computer with internet connection as AICTE will not send result or scorecard to any candidate in post or courier.

• Open the official site of AICTE CMAT on the computer system.
  
• Once the page opens, click on the link titled as CMAT Merit List.
  
• Result with overall score and percentile will appear on the screen.
  
• Login into the account using application ID and password.
  
• Download the detailed scorecard in PDF format to the computer.
  
• Open the PDF file in any reader software and take its printout.
