The web development arena is still largely misunderstood. There are even people who call it dark art. So, when you the plan ready for a great website, where do you look to make it a reality? • They should know more than one back-end handling technology.

• They should understand the marketing plans for the website. 

• They should invest time and money in research and development. 

• They should have a quality testing mechanism, including automated tests. 

• They should follow agile web development methodology. 

• They should use source control. 

We don't believe in the concept that there are front-end specialists and back-end specialists. That's more like having a plumber who fits the pipes and then another plumber fits the sinks. However, we understand that web development and web design are two different things. We also agree that the approaches for web design and web development are completely different. However, a good web developer should have knowledge of the whole web development life cycle. They should be able to get involved at every stage of the development. 

We have also faced situation where the web developer is completely unaware of the marketing endeavours around the website. There is a general tendency among the web developers not to bother with that but they should. How can they provide the best and most appropriate solution for the client if they don't know what the client wishes to achieve from the website.
