Cher Lloyd goes for grown-up glam in red lace bodycon dress
She's been lying low working on her third album.
But Cher Lloyd looked every inch the pop princess as she made a return to the spotlight at the 63rd annual BMI Pop Music Awards, held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in California on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old British singer - who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2010 - ditched her eclectic hip-hop look for a more grown-up and glamorous style, wearing a skin-tight red lace dress.

Cher showed off her slender frame in the bodycon number, which featured a sheer mesh skirt and matching panels embroidered with floral lace.
The Swagger Jagger hit-maker's tattoos were on full display and she set off her daring dress with a pair of gold heels and silver drop earrings.
She opted for lashings of coral bronzer and a shimmery lipstick to match her eye-catching outfit, styling her long brunette locks in glossy waves.

Cher was clearly pleased with her Hollywood makeover and couldn't resist checking out her reflection in her metallic clutch bag.
The star has been carving a successful career for herself in the US since placing fourth on Simon Cowell's flagship talent show.
She hasn't forgotten her roots, however, and was thrilled to bump into her pal Niall Horan, who beat her to third place with boy band One Direction on The X Factor in 2010.

'Look who I bumped into at the BMI awards! So good to see you Niall! Xx', she gushed on Instagram.
Cher is working hard to prepare a musical comeback following the release of her sophomore album Sorry I'm Late in 2014.
The album, which was delayed several times, failed to achieve the success of her debut, resulting in Cher leaving her record label to sign with Universal, with a new release planned for later this year.
