Chelsea FC is on the verge of winning the English Premier League fifth time in the team’s history. After several disappointing seasons in a row, Chelsea FC is dominating the toughest football leagues in the world. It may have took a few years, but the high priced roster is finally starting to gel together to play excellent football.

Chelsea FC has a 10 point lead over Arsenal and Manchester City with only five games left in the season. If Arsenal is able to win their remaining five games, then they will finish the season with 82 points. Chelsea already has 77 points this season, so they would only need a total of five points in their final five games. This means Chelsea can actually win the English Premier League without winning a game the rest of the season. Thanks to their schedule, Chelsea FC should be able to coast to a championship in the English Premier League. They only have one difficult game remaining on the rest of the season. Chelsea’s final five games are against Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland. Liverpool is currently in fifth place in the English Premier League, and they are the only team Chelsea faces the rest of the season that has a winning record this season. While it is safe to say that Liverpool can give Chelsea a tough match, Chelsea should have no problem clinching the EPL championship with a poor result against Liverpool.

Chelsea’s next game is being played against Leicester City on April 29. While they have only won eight games this season, Leicester City is going to be extremely motivated for this game. Leicester City is currently sitting in 17th place with 31 points, which is one more point than Sunderland. Leicester City is going to do everything they can to get a point in their game against Chelsea so they can potentially avoid relegation at the end of the season. Sunderland is also battling to avoid relegation, so they will want to play Chelsea extremely tough. While Leicester City and Sunderland will be motivated to play well, it is hard to see them getting more than a draw against an extremely talented Chelsea FC team.

While they are currently sitting in the middle of the league standings, Chelsea’s two easiest chances to win may come against Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion. Neither of these teams are in threat of being relegated out of the English Premier League. They also have no chance to get near the top of the standings to gain entry into the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League. Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion will have absolutely nothing to play for when they face Chelsea later this season. It is almost a guaranteed victory when this Chelsea team is playing an inferior team without motivation.

Chelsea FC has managed to only lose two games in the toughest league in the world, so they have earned their very easy final month of the season. You will want to be in attendance when Chelsea is able to clinch their English Premier League championship.
