Most of the western ethics are focused on the obligations, rights and the moral values of the humans. As we all are living in the advanced science age and keen awareness so we are now much more conscious about the natural disasters we are seeing and the reason behind their occurrence. The environmental injustice happening in this world is becoming a heavily debated topic that’s why environmental monitoring has come up. There are different dimensions that make environmental measurements really difficult and it’s coming to a worldwide understanding.

We cannot deny the fact that we are quite advanced and aware than were earlier but it is difficult to measure the actual impact on the nature all our actions and harm makes it very easy to shy away from taking the further responsibility. The main hindrance of the environmental ethics is how it lacks power to enthuse the changes the way humans are presently living. It is important to know different ethical frameworks related to deontologism, consequentialism and the virtue ethics while deciding what kind of theories have the maximum value to the environmental ethics. To start with least effective ethical framework in relation to the environmental ethics is the virtue ethics as it values agent character more than the cost of the action made.

Now there is deontologism that mainly checks your duty as a human. In this ethical framework you can see there is pure merit however in relation to the environmental ethics like the virtue ethics there are certain holes. Consequentialism is making moral judgment depending on the results of certain action other than intentions behind the deed itself. This is the reason why the consequentialism edges out other ethical frameworks because only the best one promotes the environmental friendly actions.

Coming to environmental monitoring assessments:

Massive waste material is being produced when demolishing of a house happens and when local government plan are laid down to recycle or reuse these materials then lot of waste material ends up in the landfill. Then the resources needed to manufacture material so as to build home from the ground are even a greater drain on the energy reserves.

If you really consider environmental monitoring then there are few ways that can be followed:

Know about the materials that can be recycled such as steel, timber, glass, bricks, plastics, carpet, bricks etc.

  1. Windows, sanitary ware, doors, pavers etc. can also be sold or may be given away on the auction sites
  2. Bricks can be cleaned up or may be reused or nicely reborn in to a new material because it is concrete. Also ensure that they end up at the recycling station but not at the bin.
  3. Joinery doesn’t always have to replace because you can retain the carcass and fix new doors and the bench tops.
  4. Tiling doesn’t have to be removed because it is very much possible to resurface the existing.
  5. Iron roofs or the tiled respond to the painting and cleaning removing the requirement to actually replace.
