Step 2: Transporting your car during the week and being flexible with your pick up and delivery dates.  Many people who do the load coordination and dispatching for auto haulers only work Monday - Friday.  Over 80% of vehicles are being picked up and delivered during the week.  This makes for the cheapest timing to ship.  Also, having flexibility is key for getting the cheapest price because if you can hold out a few extra days there is a chance that another hauler will be in the area and be able to do the job for cheaper than his/her competitor.
