Our event partners world tirelessly to reduce their ecological footprint via innovative procedures that include: reducing single use plastics on event days, clever recycling solutions, investment into rejuvenation of area after it has been used for an event. Run for charity has also set up a charity running vest programmer that uses responsible & sensible manufacturing techniques – it has seen millions of plastic bottles recycled and used in the material of charity running vests, the vests contain less chemicals and they have even added bamboo into the mix! Together we look at these process to ensure a more sustainable approach but also that the money raised by our runners for our charities is directed straight to the cause, and adopting sustainable processes is a great way to do this.
