Celebrities That Are Really Good at Self-marketing on Social Media
Almost everyone is on social media these days. It is almost impossible not to be. Social media gives celebrities the opportunity to engage with their fans and self-market themselves. While almost all celebrities are on social media, some are a lot better at harnessing its power than others. The better ones use marketing agencies, which allows them to engage with followers and make money endorsing products at the same time.
The King of Snapchat
Just about everyone who’s anyone has checked into DJ Khaled’s Snapchat to get his keys to success. DJ Khaled’s self-marketing on Snapchat turned him from just a rapper to getting endorsements from just about everyone. Since he took over the Snapchat world, he has gained endorsements from alcohol companies to Dove soap and everything in between. His snaps have even given him the opportunity to start starring in movies and TV shows as well. Nobody has been able to replicate the self-marketing of DJ Khaled and that is why he has been so successful recently.
The Queen of
Instagram
Not many know how, but Kim Kardashian West seems to have one of the best Instagrams out there. She is constantly “breaking the internet” with her posts while promoting her clothing line and app at the same time. She has the ability to make more money posting one Instagram picture than most make in a year. For someone who did not do much to become famous she has done a very good job of staying popular and in the news with her self-marketing on Instagram.
The Best of Twitter
A celebrity article is not complete without Taylor Swift and Kayne West being mentioned together. While they go about self-marketing themselves in two very different ways they are still two of the most successful celebrities at self-marketing themselves on Twitter. Kayne seems to be trending weekly for something he has said about someone good or bad. Nobody loves himself as much as Kanye loves Kanye, and he does a very good job self-marketing himself on Twitter showing this. Taylor Swift on the other hand posts a lot of her endorsements while also sharing other artist music that she likes. This gives fans a behind the scenes look at her life, and let’s them feel like they personally know Taylor. They are then more invested in her brand. Marketing agencies have helped both of these celebrities with self-marketing on Twitter.
Role of Marketing Agencies
Marketing agencies help celebrities self-market themselves on social media in order to get additional revenue streams and better their relationship with their fans. Since social media has become so popular these are only a few of the celebrities that have used social media to self-market themselves with the help of marketing agencies.
