On 4th February 2020, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program conducted a round of invitations, inviting 85 eligible candidates who scored 90 or more points under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams of the Skills Immigration and Express Entry System categories.

Those who wish to permanently live and work in British Columbia must register online for a stream that they are eligible for, by providing information regarding their credentials and qualifications. Each candidate is allocated a point score based on this information. The registration remains in the selection pool for up to 12 months.

Through regular rounds of invitation, the BC PNP invites highest-scoring registrants who can fulfill a minimum point requirement – which changes with each round – to apply for nomination. The nomination application must be submitted online within 30 days of receiving the invitation. If approved, nominees can apply for permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
