British Columbia Invites 284 Candidates to Apply for Provincial Nomination

On 28^th January 2020, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) conducted a round of invitations, and extended invitations to apply for provincial nomination to 284 candidates under various sub-categories or ‘streams’. Only those who could meet or exceed the minimum point requirement – which is different for each stream, and varies with each round – were invited.

Skills Immigration

Skilled Worker – 100 points

International Graduate – 103 points

Entry Level and Semi-Skilled – 85 points

Express Entry BC

Skilled Worker – 110 points

International Graduate – 105 points

Aspirants can register online under a British Columbia PNP stream that they are eligible for. Each candidate is allocated points based on relevant selection criteria. Highest-scoring candidates who fulfil the point requirement for their stream receive invitations to apply for nomination. Within 30 days of receiving the invitation, a complete application must be submitted to BC PNP. If nominated, the candidate can apply for permanent residence to IRCC.
