Brighten up a Child’s Future Today; Sponsor Child Education

The Covid-19 pandemic has drastically affected the education (even primary education) of children whose learning processes were already sensitive because of their region’s economy and politics. They need you and you can do anything that is within your capacity to help out.

Some important issues going on around the world

In underdeveloped countries, many are not getting the right medical treatment. Some are not receiving any basic form of medical treatment at all. Vaccines are not available to all or even to entire countries, e.g., Uganda. Child marriage and teen pregnancies have surged up again during the pandemic, destroying an improved status that was achieved with humongous efforts. This is partly due to the decline in educational workshops that NGOs would organise regularly, covering topics such as healthcare, self-hygiene, sexual health, etc. This is why you need to donate for child education today. Donate whatever you can even if it seems low. It counts and helps when the end figures come out.

Some Programs/Projects you can sponsor

When you donate money for child education, you can be (and most probably, you’ll have to be) specific about the project you want to sponsor. It’ll help you know where you are contributing and there would be better transparency between you and the organisation. You can donate to reproductive and sexual health awareness projects. These are necessary all over the world and are not even effectively carried out in first-world countries. So it becomes an inherent duty for us, the privileged, to ensure teens do not end up in dangerous or unwanted situations. You can also sponsor child education for orphans. These projects help children not go astray due to poor conditions in their childhood. Their education and healthcare might get covered if everyone donates a fraction of the total money required. Some programs also focus on developing boys as healthy and sane adults, and the same programs are specifically set for girls too.

One important program is the advocacy for sexual gender-based violence. Gender-based violence has alarmingly risen post-pandemic because of spouses being forced to live together with their abusers. In Uganda, victims of violence have less help compared to developed countries. They need financial help in multiple aspects along with their children.

Donate money for child education today, and look how good of a generation will result from it in the next 10-20 years. Help the world become a better place and help children grow with basic amenities.
