Battlefield 5 Update 1.29: List of Latest Weapons Patch Notes

Battlefield 5 update has rolled out on PS4 and has introduced lots of fascinating stuff as well. However, there are lots of weapons rebalancing required in the game. EA took the matter in hands and released necessary gun patch notes recently. So, here are the details about new patch notes for weapons available in new update 1.29.

Close Range SMGs:

Weapons: M1928A1, MP28, and ZK-383 when used with its ROF Boost

• High rate of fire.
• Decreased damage rate per shot.
• Drop off Fast Damage
• Damage:  5 to 13 BTK
• Spawn ammo target:  150 to 180
• Efficient Range:  0 to 15 m.

AR-SMGs:

Weapons:  MAB38 and Mp34

• Efficient Range: 10 to 30 m.
• Damage: 5 to 8 BTK
• Spawn ammo target: 150 to 180.
• Allows medics to attain extra range on open maps.
• Drop off SMGs decreased damage in close range.

Balanced SMGs:

Weapons:  EMP, STEM, MP40, Type 100

• Extended drop-off SMGs.
• Convenient to use lower ROF.
• Damage: 4 to 10 and 5 to 12 for Type 100
• Spawn ammo target:  150 to 180
• Efficient Range: 0 to 20 m

StG 44:

• Damage: 5 o 8 BTK
• Spawn ammo target: 150
• Efficient Range: 10 to 30 m
• Good damage AR per shot and accuracy.
• Enhanced magazine capacity and ROF at a short distance.

Sturmgewehr 1-5:

• Damage:  6 to 9 BTK
• Spawn ammo target:  180
• Efficient Range:  10 to 30 m
• Reduced damage per shot.
• Higher ROF in AR

Breda M1935 PG:

• Damage: 5 to 6 BTK
• Spawn ammo target:  140
• Efficient Range: 20 to 50 m
• ROF is rather low.
• AR with Hard-hitting brustfire.
• Best in Long Range shots.

M1907 SF:

• Damage: 5 to 13 BTK
• Spawn ammo target: 160
• Efficient Range:  0 to 15 m
• Get SMG style gameplay with Assault.
• Fast and close damage drop-off.
• Increase damage with high ROF AR.

Balanced MMGs:

Weapons:  MG 34, and M1922 MG, S2-200

• Damage: 6 to 9 BK
• Spawn ammo target: near about 200
• Efficient Range: 10 to 30 m
• Gentler drop-off with low start damage.
• Medium to fast-firing MMGs.

Balanced LMGs:

Weapon: KE7, Bren Gun, and Lewis Gun

• Damage: 5 to 8 BTK
• Spawn ammo target: 180
• Efficient Range: 10 to 30 m
• Low to medium ROF LMGs
• Efficient range damage per bullet as high ROF LMGs.

Ranged LMGs:

Weapons: Madsen MG

• Damage: 6 BTK
• Spawn ammo target: 200
• Efficient Range:  less than 20 m
• Controllable and highly accurate LMGs with low ROF
• Constant damage per bullet.
• Strong LMGs for Long-range than shorter distance.

CQB LMGs:

Weapons:  FG-42, LS/26

• Damage:  4 to 11 for LS/26 and 5 to 13 BTK for FG-42
• Spawn ammo target:180
• Efficient Range:0 to 15 m
• Close range and medium to fast-firing LMGs.
• Drop-off fast damage limits efficient range.
