You Should Never lose your balance
Always when you are playing basketball, kindly keep in mind that whenever you loose your balance for atleast one second, then you are beat. Whenever you are trying to make an offensive move, you loose balance. When you loose balance remember that your opponent can easily blow you.
When you are guarding the ball always remember to stay on your feet. Never attempt to go for weak shots. Or else, you are beat. Also keep in mind that you don’t have to lunge the ball since you be off balance. You still need to maintain a wide stance since anytime your feet get close you will easily be prone to loose balance.
The purpose of every offensive move is to get
YOU off balance - because as soon as you lose balance, the offense can blow by
you. Staying upright is not also a good idea, always be in an athletic stance
to sure that you don’t easily loose balance. Please note that most of these tips i am sharing have been used by Soar Articles and have worked.
Put your hand above the ball when the ball is below mid-section.
This is a great trick which will always help to keep off your opponent from putting the ball in a shooting position.
Put your hand on the ball when its on Shooting position
This trick helps you to keep off the player from shooting while you still maintain your feet position which helps you to not loose balance.
Place your hands under the ball and flip up if its above the head
This idea helps you to keep off from foul trouble. Most of the refs are known to call fouls if you swing downward. This trick will also keep off your opponent from bringing the ball down to the shooting section.
Always Keep your head lower than the offensive player's head
This trick helps you to always to get underneath your opponent and will always keep you in a good position to slide your feet and take control.
