Barry Dadon: Remember to draft Pittsburgh Steelers this year

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a big offensive goal this season: to score 30 points per a game.

While that might sound like a rather high number, Big Ben and Co. did average 27.3 points per game last year. So really, we’re just talking about an extra field goal per contest. And when put it those terms, that certainly doesn’t sound out of the realm of possibilities.

It does, however, mean that you might want to draft Big Ben and a few other Steelers for your 2015 fantasy football team.

Big Ben is coming off a career year, recording 4,952 passing yards and 32 touchdowns in 2014. There’s no reason to think that he can’t put up those type of numbers again. Can he, however, top last season?

I, Barry Dadon, am not so sure. I do think Big Ben is a safe QB1 in all leagues, though. And I’m also thinking about drafting Le’Veon Bell, who is reportedly looking more explosive than ever, rather early.

In the wide receiving corps, Antonio Brown is always a legit threat. I’m also considering taking Martavis Bryant.

Now I just need to hope that nobody in my league is reading my blog. And if my friends are reading this blog, they might want to consider the fact that this could all just be a decoy and that I don’t actually plan on taking any Steelers this year because I don’t think they’re actually going to score 30 points per game.
