Attraction in the Jewish Sites NYC

The lower east side of the New York is mostly named as the LES. This is considered as the neighbourhood of the south-eastern part of the New York City. The LES is located between bowery and east river & between Canal Street and Houston Street.

The Eldridge Street Synagogue
This is a temple that has been built between the Chinese restaurants, hair salons and fish markets. THE temple had been built more than a century ago and is kept in the original shape till now. It has been renovated once in the year 2007 and is known as the Eldridge Street Museum. The museum holds the heritage of many Jewish beliefs including Moorish, Gothic and Romanesque influences. THE structure of the museum is an example of its own. The building comprises of a 70-foot tall vaulted ceiling structure that refers to its ancient development. Is has stained glass windows that add glamour to the building. One of the greatest things inside the building is the hand carvings that have enhanced the interior décor of the museum.
KehliaKedosha Janina
It is the only Greek Jewish synagogue that exists in the region. This was built by a band of Jewish Immigrants that came from the Greek Village of Janina. The synagogue was built in the year 1927 and has been retained till now in its original condition.
Angel Orensanz Foundation
It is the oldest synagogue in the region but it has been shut down. It has been vandalized for over a decade. It was converted into an art studio in the year 1986. The synagogue was built by a berlin architect name Alexander Saelzer.
