by Nitish Rana Writer

Children love animals, and they love animal puppets. It can be their favourite pass time to involve in paper bag crafts, once you teach them to create their animal puppets on their own. Those funny faces on the bags and hands coming out from it would look really attractive to them. So, without much ado, ask your kid to make mouse puppet utilising just brown paper carrier bags wholesale as a basic product material. Here are the steps for how you can:

What Your Kid Would Need?

ü  A Printer

ü  Plain Paper

ü  Brown paper bag

ü  Glue or tape

ü  Pair of scissors

The Steps:

§  Print out a suitable template of choice that is featuring a mouse.

§  Ask your kid to colour the pieces properly with appropriate, attractive shades.

§  Afterwards, ask them to cut them out with the help of scissors. You can help them in cutting the shapes.

§  Now take your paper bag. Keep it closed and flat just like a piece of paper.

§  Make sure which part has to be the front and which will be the back of your puppet mouse.

§  Choose the bottom base of the paper (the flippy tab) to be the head of your mouse.

§  Lift this flippy tab up a bit. This is to make the underneath surface the mouse’ mouth. When your kid would put its hand in the bag, s/he'll make the puppet talk with the movements.

§  The rest of the brown bag say the 3/4 or so below the face will be the body of the mouse puppet.

§  The puppet should look like this when complete: a mouse face on the top of the bottom flippy tab of the cheap paper bags. Two cute hands of the mouse each on the opposite smaller sides of the bag.

Ok, so you're comfy with your mouse like a bag? Let's start the craft!

In case you want to paint or colour the paper puppet choose an attractive colour and let it dry completely. Now as you have cut out the painted template pieces you would like to paste them on the bag’s surface.

When done, fold the corners of the bottom tab under and utilise glue to paste a triangular head shape. Also, use glue to attach the whiskers (three black coloured stripes). Now paste the nose onto the triangle, overlapping the whiskers. Lift the snout and glue the tongue underneath it. In the end, glue the eyes and ears onto the head, and the coloured arms onto the side of the bag.

Delay no more! Just buy carrier bags made of paper and let your kid show their creativity. Instruct them to make the cute mouse puppet and get stunned with their own flair. Also, you can try other animals or things to make a puppet. Just think of the idea and get started!
