Apple in India with made in India

Apple can soon offer "Made in India" iphones to their customers in India and they can come out of a factory in Peenya area of Bengaluru. India will now be becoming  the third nation internationally to manufacture and assemble iPhones, an indicator of how essential the nation is for the world's the majority of appreciated businesses. There is no specific announcement declared yet, however the operations are supposed to start by early June this year.The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Made in India' initiative have motivated Apple to initiate the production of iPhones in India which is finally  getting true with its initial factory outlet for producing manufacturing the iPhones being set up in the industrial sector Bangalore.

Apple official along with several Indian officials are deciding over the location for apple’s first iPhone manufacturing outlet the initial  bids were between the states of  Bangalore, Gujarat, Maharashtra  and Telangana with Bangalore coming out the winner finally. The original equipment manufacturer of iphones for Apple inc.  is wistron, a taiwanese company that will be taking up the manufacturing operations in peenya industrial area in Bangalore.In fact, recruitment process for several positions for the manufacturing plant in bangalore  have already started that comprises of an iPhone operations program manager role.

 The  positon of operations program manager will be a crucial one the manager  will  take care of several responsibilities like heading the equipment assembling operations team .Apple Inc. have told that there is a development and design accelerator coming up in the city as well ,that will enhance the growth of the software developers and will  even provide knowledge of Apple's programming and scripting language known as “swift”  this platform  is required for building applications  like Apple Watches and Apple TV.

 

The IT minister of karnataka, Mr. Priyank Kharge after sealing the deal for Apple india stated that "this major step of Apple inc. will encourage cutting edge technological ecosystem and supply chain development in the state, which is a most essential and critical requirement for India to compete globally. The meeting between the apple official and the government of Karnataka had positive discussions about the initiatives in manufacturing and having possible collaborations with state in other areas. There is no fixed time frame declared yet, however the operations are supposed to start by initial June this year.

 The Karnataka government is also focusing to convince Apple inc. to set up a complete technological ecosystem by setting up a Apple’s spare parts manufacturing outlet, but these are just mere speculations. As  for now, India’s customer are eager to witness a new era of technology with made in india iPhones.
