Given that the start of computer animation was only a couple of years ago, 3D technology has already embarked on a prominence in media, technology and the numerous digital/creative industries. Manual hand-drawn art of cartoons is an old concept and would probably be given lesser importance due to the sheer time constraint.

Animators in 2020 use computers to generate three-dimensional images, moving images and video clips instead of the frame by frame manual editing.
