However, if you are looking many to-do home remedies, the discussion here could help you out.

Garlic has anti-inflammatory properties

A clove of garlic, a pinch of salt and few drops of water are all you need. Before you crush the garlic, add a pinch of salt and drops of water into it. Apply it to the affected areas and leave it for 10-15 minutes before washing off. Do this once daily to reduce the chances of ache. As garlic contains antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, it will help treat toothaches caused by sensitivity.

Clove oil works wonders

Take one teaspoon of coconut oil and add six drops of clove oil in it. Mix it well and apply it to the affected areas (your sensitive tooth or gums). After you apply it, keep it for 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse off with water.  Continue this procedure twice daily and see the result.

Clove has certain microbicide properties that help in killing oral pathogens. It is also beneficial due to its analgesic effect, which helps in numbing the area it is applied in. Thus, applying it relieves ache almost immediately.

Guava leaves are also helpful

Do you know that guava leaves can also equate the actions of your sensitive toothpaste? Yes, you heard it right!  Collect some guava leaves and wash them thoroughly. Then, chew on them for one to two minutes before spitting. As the leaves contain flavonoids like rutin and quercetin they help in soothing inflammations. Thus, soreness with the sensitive tooth will naturally get reduced.

Nothing works like yogurt

Take half a bowl of plain yogurt and consume it regularly atleast once. As yogurt is a good source of proteins, vitamins, nutrients and minerals, it helps minimize the demineralization of the tooth enamel. Therefore, it can bring tooth sensitivity and its symptoms well under control with day-to-day consumption.

Fluoride Mouthwash and toothpaste

Last but not the least method to reduce tooth sensitivity is by using a fluoride mouthwash. To use it, take small amounts of the wash, preferably in a small cup (full). Sip it and swish it into your mouth from corner to corner for at least 1-2 minutes before spitting.

Besides all these home remedies, you can always confide with a sensitive toothpaste as a preventative. The fluoride present in it works as a protective guard on the sensitive areas. Regular use can completely soothe out the symptoms.
