Frameless Kit Motors can be used for machine designs that need high performance in small spaces. The kit motors help to make direct integration with a mechanical transmission device, hence removing parts that make any addition to its size and complexity. The frameless kit motors help to make a smaller and reliable motor package.

The K series has introduced a low voltage factor to its range of frameless Permanent Magnet AC (PMAC) motors. The applications where compactness, reliability, precision and cost-effectiveness are critical, servo motors can be easily used for.

In case of the CE-certified K Series the machine design is quite simplified as here both the rotor and stator are implemented inside the system directly. It’s low voltage capability starts from 12Vac, the K motor series can cover a speed range up to 10,000rpm, and continuous torque upto 23Nm.

The construction of frameless servo motors is done in a way that the magnets are glued to the rotor, compact copper coils for shorter size and large hollow shaft. It is available in the diameters of 32, 44, 64, 89 and 178mm with three different lengths per diameter and three torque/speed levels per length.

The synchronous PMAC brushless motors are more compact as they occupy as little as a quarter of the space of asynchronous motor technology that too at the same power rating and offer higher efficiency ranging between 90 and 95%. In addition, the K Series motors can give full torque at low-speed, its accuracy is enhanced, and vibration and inertia are both reduced.

These K series motors are lightweight, and are highly accurate to provide high levels of inherent stiffness and robustness. It can naturally cool and provide maintenance-free operation.

The frameless kit motors have various on-site design and manufacturing capabilities, it can offer value added solutions which help in its easy integration and provide “plug and play” solutions to your custom application requirements.

When to use the frameless kit motors:
  1. Minimum motor size per application space
  2. Low cogging for smooth operation
  3. Low inertia for high acceleration
  4. A significant cost saving
  5. Reduced mechanical complexity
  6. Greater design flexibility
  7. High performance in a compact package
  8. Improved dynamic response and settling

The frameless kit motors are available in various additional frame sizes, stack lengths, and windings to meet any virtual and practical combination of voltage and current requirements. It can be used for automotive, machine tool, robotics and material handling applications.
