AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) notification 2018 has been released. Candidates are eagerly waiting for AFCAT application form. This year AFCAT exam will be held online. Candidates can go through AFCAT official website to get all information about AFCAT 2018.

AFCAT exam is organized by IAF (Indian Air Force) twice in a year usually February and September month.

Finally great news for all technical and non-technical candidates that AFCAT application has been started online now at afcat.cdac.in

IAF AFCAT 2018

There was some technical issue with AFCAT official website so that they could not update any AFCAT news in past time. The information should be correct when filling online application, candidate’s knowledge with false information, application will be rejected.

AFCAT exam 2018 will be conducted to recruit candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) / Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-technical) Branches.

Candidates may fill AFCAT 2018 online application before last date of application submission i.e. 23rd January 2018.

AFCAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

1) Flying Branch

Education: Graduation (min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks OR B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized University with min 60% marks. Candidates must have passed Maths and Physics with minimum 60% in each subject at 10+2 level.

Age Limit: 20 to 24 years as on 01.01.2019 (born between 02.01.1995 to 01.01.1999 including both dates). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and Current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years i.e. born between 02.01.1993 to 01.01.1999 (both dates inclusive).

Min Height: 162.5 cms with correlated weight

Min Vision: 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other

*Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course. Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible.

2) Ground Duty (Technical) Branch

Education: Four year degree qualification in relevant field of engineering OR should have cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60% marks for Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)} and Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) {AE (M)}.posts. Candidates must have passed Maths and Physics with minimum 60% in each subject at 10+2 level.

Age Limit: 20 to 26 years on 01.01.2019 (born between 02.01.1993 to 01.01.1999 including both dates)

Min Height: 157.5 cms with correlated weight, women — 152 cms

*Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course. Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible.

3) Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch

Education: Graduate degree (Min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks or equivalent or cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a min of 60% marks or equivalent for Administration and Logistics posts

B.Com (Min 3 years) with min 60% marks for Accounts posts
MBA / MCA or MA / M Sc degree (Minimum 2 years) in English / Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / International relations / International studies / Defence studies / Psychology / Computer Science / IT / Management / Mass Communication / Journalism / Public Relation with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate all paper put together in Post Graduation (Minimum two year programme) and 60% marks in graduation for Education posts.

-Colored passport sized scanned photograph — 10KB-50KB — JPEG/JPG format.

-Scanned Signature — 10KB-50KB — JPEG/JPG format.

-Thumb Impression (left thumb for male candidates and right thumb for female candidates) — 10KB-50KB — JPEG/JPG format.

1.Click on ‘New Registration’ link through official website.
2. Fill in your details in the Registration form and Submit.
3. A User ID and password will be sent to your email. 
4. Use the User ID and password to login by using the ‘Login to Apply Online’ link below.
5. Reset your password on the next page.
6. Select exam category from — AFCAT, NCC Flying branch, and Metrology branch.
7. Read instructions

8. On successful completion of AFCAT 2018 Application, candidates will receive Registration ID in their email.
