A Detailed Guideline on Vessel Classification & Certification

by Ove Jebsen Norwegian Ship Sales As, Ship Brokers

Seagoing vessels registered in every country, must be assigned to a specific class that gives a description regarding their kind of permitted usages. It simultaneously determines which certificates are required to be held by these vessels. Recognized Classification Society, which approves all the surveys & inspection, owns the right to establish and assign these classes.
