What are Fish oils?

Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids that are required by the humanbody to carry out certain functions.Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in food by consuming fatty fish and other sea food like shellfish. They are also found in vegetable oils, and Sea weed like Krill.

Omega 3’s can be acquired by eating fish or by taking supplements. Fish that are rich in Omega 3’s are found in cold seas around the world. Common fish that contain high values of Omega 3 fatty acids are: mackerel, herring, tuna, salmon and cod liver. Omega-3 fatty acids are made up of Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). (WebMd, 2018)

This is why fish oil recommended for patients with psoriasis and dry eyes. * Customer reviews of the Fish oils on Amazon.com

The recommended daily allowance of Fish oils ranges from 2000mg to 3000mg depending on the need. So it’s important to understand that:

1.      Certain brands of Fish oil do not contain as much Omega 3 as the proclaim to be packed in each capsule

2.      High amounts of fish oil is not factor to consider while buying Fish oils. The body takes up what is needed and gets rid of the excess.

From the table it can be safely concluded that Fish Oil Omega Gold from Healthy Naturals is a good choice for a supplement when compared to its contemporary supplements today.

What exactly are we supposed to deduce from this table? Have researchers reported clinically relevant differences between people who consumed fish oils for these individual brands?
