by Reah Gupta Sales Manager at T&T Motors

Mercedes-Benz has been the most prominent luxury car manufacture in the country for decades.  While this German automobile brand offers a wide range of vehicle models in India, it is the E-class sedans that enjoy the highest level of popularity here. This model was launched in the year 1995, and more than forty thousand people have bought an E-class since then.

The Brand-New Mercedes-Benz E Class

Mercedes-Benz India recently updated its extensively popular E-Class model. The latest iteration of the vehicle is offered in both diesel and petrol engine options. The updated Mercedes-Benz E-Class is additionally available in three variants and five trim levels in the country, which are:

  • E 200 Expression
  • E 200 Exclusive
  • E 200d Expression
  • E 200d Exclusive
  • E 350d

The latest Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available in a long-wheelbase avatar and features options for a 6-cylinder diesel (E 350d), 4-cylinder petrol (E 200), and diesel engines (E 220d). The upgrades made to the model have been primarily regarding certain added features and a new appearance.

The Outer Appearance of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

A number of major upgrades have been made to the exteriors of this model.  Its front has been absolutely redesigned, and now features a brand-new trapezoidal grille, front bumpers, headlights, as well as split tail lamps in the rear. These elements enhance the sporty look of the vehicle, while also giving it a distinctive regal vibe. The top-of-the-line Mercedes Benz E 350d makes an even stronger impression with its AMG designed front and rear bumpers, 18-inch alloy wheels, AMG diamond grille that is studded with embellishments, and Air Body Control suspension. The 2021 E-Class is available in the typical black, grey, and white hues.

The Interiors of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The changes made to the interiors of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class are far more subtle. One can now find a new three-spoke steering wheel inside the vehicle that features upgraded touch panels. These panels can be used to operate the digital dials and central infotainment screen. The overall touch sensitivity has been improved in comparison to the older models of the vehicle.

The lavish quality and high comfort of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class have been beautifully maintained in the vehicle. Its design impeccably integrates an old-work charm with modern technology and creates a unique environment where digital screens and open-pore wood sit in perfect visual harmony.

The comfort provided by the E-Class is absolutely unparalleled. While its front seats are definitely incredible, it is the ones in the back that level-up the whole experience of riding a Mercedes-Benz.  The updated E-Class has a long wheelbase, which provides excellent legroom as well. The seat backs are reclinable by 37 degrees, and its pillow-like head restraints add to the comfort of the passengers.
