A Brief Information on Post Graduate Programmes offered at IMT

The much-awaited results of the IMT admission process 2017 for admissions to two-year full-time post-graduate programmes at Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Dubai Campuses were announced on March 17, 2017.      

The Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad is the country’s leading management college emphasizing on grooming leadership qualities through core values like innovation, execution and social responsibility. The admission process of IMT for the session 2017-2019 was conducted over the course of 6 weeks. When compared to the year 2016, an increase of 21 percent was noticed in the number of applicants who appeared for the final selection process. The overall applicant pool also witnessed an increase of 10 percent. The process successfully completed on 5th March, 2017.

An Overview of IMT, Ghaziabad

Established in 1980, Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad is an autonomous, not–for–profit institute, offering postgraduate programmes to aspiring management candidates for more than three–and–a–half decades. The institute currently offers four AICTE approved management programmes – full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM Executive, part-time PGDM, and PGDM Dual Country Programme (DCP). Courses Offered

Listed below are some of the courses offered at IMT:

1. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

This two-year regular programme in Business Management is AICTE approved and AACSB accredited and is equivalent to an MBA degree. The core courses studied in the first year of the programme will develop the required skills, attitude and knowledge in students which are incumbent for a leader. The elective courses offered in the second year will allow students an opportunity to delve deeper in their particular field of specialization.

2. PGDM Dual Country Programme (DCP)

This two-year full-time Dual Country programme is in collaboration with IMT Dubai campus. The programme provides students with an opportunity to get a year-long intense international experience in one of the most dynamic markets of the world. Students will study internationally benchmarked curriculum and will have a chance to work with multinational companies.

3. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Executive

The PGDM (Executive) programme aims to hone the skills of working professionals. It is a fifteen-month regular programme that covers a broad range of concepts - real life projects, actual case studies with simulations, discussions with senior executives of organizations and start-ups & consulting projects. Over the length of the course, students have to spend 12-months in the campus refining their knowledge and the remaining 3-months working in real time with companies.

4. Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM)

It is a 50 alternate weekend programme in management for high performing executives. The programme focuses on core values like strategy, innovation & execution and is designed to help working professionals gain insights into fundamental areas of management.
