The Honda Vamos is a car manufactured by Honda, first produced in 1970 and halted in 1973. It was reintroduced in 1999 as a trim of the Honda Acty Kei truck. The early model was based on the Honda TN360 pickup, featuring a mid-mounted air-cooled 0.4-liter 2-cylinder OHC petrol engine, and a 4-speed manual transmission that powered the rear wheels. The 1970 Vamos was equipped with McPherson strut suspensions at the front and a De Dion tube with half leaf springs at the back.

1999 Honda Vamos

In June 1999, Honda reintroduced the Vamos, a 5-door, 4-seat microvan. It features a 0.7-liter inline 3-cylinder SOHC E07Z engine available in naturally aspirated or turbocharged variants. 2001 -2003 Honda Vamos

In 2001, the Vamos underwent upgrades including a new V-shaped front grille with optional chrome coating and a 60:40 rear seat arrangement for enhanced cabin convenience. In 2003, the Honda Vamos underwent cosmetic updates, including new color choices and the introduction of the Vamos Hobio trim. This version boasts a spacious interior and a versatile cargo area. Both the Vamos and Vamos Hobio are offered in L and M trims. Upgrades for the 2003 models include a radio wave keyless entry (M trim), four additional exterior colors, standard audio options (AM/FM and CD for M, MD/CD for L), and new 12-inch aluminum wheels (L trim). The Vamos Hobio features a roof 105mm higher than the standard Vamos for increased cargo capacity, water-repellant covers, wipeable mats, a reconfigurable rear space, and a larger grille with front and rear bumpers.
