You can be a career path breaker even with a career that doesn't fit the ideal societal image. You just need to have the right skills to reach the topmost point in your life. A career that is unique and not so common is what you can take up, and there are many other career options in India to explore, and you still get a good ransom amount as a salary. 

Who knows, you may just be the next top person or a celebrity to consider with your uncommon career option. And you may earn both name and fame, and wealth in life. Let your talent do the talking here, and for the time being, read about these seven highly rewarding but uncommon career options in India.

1. Content writing

You may have penned down an article or two online or may have a diary where you write short stories, poems and so on, don’t stop. If you have your own blog or are planning to start one, go ahead and do that. You can aspire to make this your full-time career too. Such careers are on the rise and people of all ages in India are taking to it. Right from the digital world to the academic and the software industry, or any sphere of your life, writing will always be an indispensable way of communicating with a world. And this career option will give you a huge scope too. You need to have a bachelor's degree in any field and from a university which is well-known.

2. Driving Thanks to the advancement of the digital industry, this profession which was once looked down upon as inferior is now one of the topmost paying jobs to have. The game is changing, and it is a full-time profession that is uncommon but is happening amongst the youth. All you need is to get a cab registered under Uber or Ola and earn handsomely through the industry. You need to be a class twelve pass graduate and have good speaking skills and route knowledge so that you can drive your customers with ease.

3. Youtuber Over the past decade or so, YouTube has become the mecca for daily content. Ever since it started in the year 2005, this channel has offered the public much more. From a platform to share videos, to a place where you can create content, YouTube has come a long way. In this day and age, around the world and in India too, there has been an influx of people creating their own content and posting it on YouTube. Many do it with the intention of fun and entertainment, but there are those who make it big with the same. Thanks to the incorporation of tools such as third party sponsorships and AdSense, now the YouTubers make big bucks too. These influencers have left their own traditional jobs and ways of making money and are now influencing the public through YouTube and on other social media platforms such as Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram too.

4. Bartending This job is for the party animals around, and if you wish to see yourself working for high-end private restaurants and hotels. You can also be working for cruise ships and other grand events too. If all this excites you and you possess a love for alcoholic drinks too, then bartending is for you. Bartending is not as common a career option, but you get to interact with people who share the same likes and tastes just as you do. You need to have a graduation degree from a well-known college, and a specialization preferably in bartending with good knowledge of alcohol and alcoholic drinks.

5. Yoga teacher training You can enroll in yoga teacher training and be a yoga trainer. Your job would be to teach your students about the numerous positions in yoga and show them basic steps too. As a yoga teacher and trainer, your job would be to take into account the health of your students and teach them accordingly. You will have to monitor each of your students well and ensure that they are performing the poses the right way. As a yoga teacher trainer, you need to be in good shape and offer dietary advice to your students too, but in consultation with an expert dietitian. As a trainer, you would need to teach your students the right form of breathing, which is the most important aspect of yoga. And you will be responsible for taking practical classes, offering theoretical knowledge, organize workshops along with other academic classes in your grip. 

6. Classical dancing If you love art and wish to express this in the form of dance, then why wait? What is it that makes you hold back your dreams, and think that this field will not give you a lot of scopes? You can be a dance trainer and earn a lot of money and have your own institute in the future as well. As a dancer, you need to have good physical strength and you should be creative so that you are able to express your feelings through your body language. You can be an Indian or an international classical dancer, but for that, you need to have the right training and you should understand the technicalities as well. 

7. Pet food taster In this day and age, one of the most uncommon but gradually rising jobs known in India would be that of a pet food taster. And why should this not be a career option? Everyone with a pet wants the best for them, and for that, we need to have a pet food taster. What the job entails here is that the pet’s food is of high nutritional value and the job of the pet food taste is to ensure the same. They taste the product to know if the pet food is actually tasty or not and to ensure if the nutritional values are high or not.
