WOW WHEAT GRASS
We know you know. Eating right and exercising regularly will make you look good, feel good and give you a big boost in the self-confidence department amongst all the other health benefits associated with weight loss. We want you to know that we know you’re struggling. Seriously, with all the information out there, who wouldn’t be?
At every turn we’re hit with “Eat This, Not That!” internet articles, new scientific discoveries, hundreds of theories about better nutrition, exercise and the latest and greatest health fads. Not a day goes by when you don’t see a banner ad on your Facebook page promising how the latest Rain Forest berry will burn all your unwanted calories away! And if you made the same bonehead mistake that I did by bringing up the topic while out with friends, you discovered that EVERYONE has a new 5.2 fast diet they’re currently on that has absolutely, positively, changed their life! If you were brave enough to head on out to your local Barnes and Noble to check out any of those life-changing diets you may have noticed the hundreds of other diet books alongside them, all claiming to be the one.

We’re not airheads. We all know that cutting down on junk food and going out to walk a few times a week will do us wonders. Long-term diets, powders, pills and buying expensive exercise equipment will only get us so far down the road to our weight loss goals.
When a fast is NOT a fast and a diet is NOT a diet
Personal trainers consistently recommend that changing up your exercise routine every now and then tricks your body into using your muscles differently. This basically resets your body’s default browser for your regular work-out. This same rule applies to your 5 day diet plan. When you fast or greatly reduce your caloric intake for a short period of time, you trick your system into acting differently. In effect you’re resetting your body just like you do when you reboot your computer.
WOW WHEAT GRASS is based on the general principles of the latest scientific research out of USC, the results of which, were published on June 22, 2015 in the prestigious magazine, Cell.
The USC longevity lab performed experiments on yeast, mice and human subjects and showed that a limited 5 day fast each month, followed by eating sensibly the rest of the month, led to reduced inflammation markers (longer more active life) and sustained weight loss.

It is a short-term approach – 5 consecutive days of eating reduced calories. The perfect example of when a fast is not a fast and a diet is not a diet, The 5 Day FAST Diet is quick, convenient and brings you all the benefits of less caloric intake for a short period of time.
How The 5 Day FAST Diet works
Long-term fasting throws the body into a dangerous starvation mode which not only puts undue stress on organ function and risks one’s health, but also leads to increased risk of weight gain when fasting stops. Of all the people you’ve known who have gone on prolonged fasting or liquid diets, how many of them have gained all the weight they lost back and more?
The results of the USC study proved that brief fasting periods do indeed have great health benefits. These short bursts of lesser caloric intake are less stressful on the body than typical fasting and have been proven to be medically safe and wholly unrelated to long-term fasting. Where doctors have been against the practice of fasting before, they are all for short term fasting for better health and weight loss.
