If you are like so many others, you are trying to defy the changes that are brought on by aging. Unfortunately, no one has found the fountain of youth yet. While it may be impossible to turn back the hands of time, there are many beauty products that can help you to maintain a youthful appearance. Take a look at five favorites that can help you to stay young.

1. Faithfully Use No-Rise Wipes Meant for Cleansing

Every night before bed, you need to make sure your face is clean. Soap can dry your skin. You don't want to use anything that is abrasive. Cleansing wipes that are no-wipe will effectively wipe away traces of dirt, oil, and makeup so that you go to bed with clean and healthy skin. You'll love how it glows before your head hits the pillow.

2. Use Skin Cream that Contains Retinoids

Do your homework and find quality skin creams that contain retinoids. Retinoids come from vitamin A. They can help you to fight acne, exfoliate the dead layer on the top of your skin, and step up your skin's ability to produce collagen. The end result is radiant skin that looks like you stripped away a few years from your age.

3. Try Hydrating Gel Pads

A variety of hydrating gel pads, including collagen facial pads, can improve the condition of your skin. They include collagen, a natural substance produced in your skin that makes it more elastic, as well as other ingredients that keep your skin supple and moist. When applied to trouble spots on your face, they can be made fine lines, and wrinkles begin to fade. They'll also keep your skin hydrated, making it plumper and firmer. Try applying them to the skin beneath your eyes to reduce the appearance of bags or shadows. You can also apply them on your forehead or around your mouth to soften fine lines.

4. Put a Humidifier in Your Room

A humidifier will help you to create the same kind of conditions you get when you step into a steamy shower. You can use your humidifier all year long to maintain moist skin. It's especially helpful when you have dry conditions, either from intense heat, the cold brought on by winter, or when you run an air conditioner. Put one in your bedroom to create optimal conditions when you sleep. You can also put a humidifier in other rooms in your house to add moisture to the air. If you have a wood stove, consider putting a kettle filled with water on top. It will keep a steady stream of moist air flowing in your home.

5. Experiment with Masks When You Sleep

Your skin renews itself at night. You can use a variety of masks to increase new cell production and repair the damages. Masks that include honey can reduce inflammation because they have high levels of antioxidants. Other ingredients that can benefit you include B-2 and coconut water to hydrate your skin. Choose a mask that contains vitamin C when you want to fight the effects of bacteria on your skin. A charcoal mask can open up your pores and eliminate debris. A mask made from oatmeal is also beneficial when you want to fight off anything that may attack your skin. This type of natural-based mask also has anti-inflammatory properties. Look for a mask that includes pumpkin if your skin has been affected by exposure to the sun or weather. Masks with algae are excellent to promote moist skin.

When you have a daily regimen that includes tried and true beauty products, you can have healthier skin. Healthy skin can stand up to the test of time. You can also make some lifestyle changes that will enhance your skin. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Cut back on sodium. Eat several helpings of fresh produce. Be sure to regularly get a good night's sleep. Avoid smoking. Be sure to cover your skin when you are going to be out in the skin, whether you wear sunscreen or protective clothing. There are lotions and concealers that include sunscreen. Your conscientious efforts will give you smoother, glowing skin.
