2 Major Advancement in the Education System in 2020

Never lose the opportunity of a crisis, and this is one such situation. When living in a critical situation that cannot be resolved at the moment, the next best alternative is learning to live with it. One sector that made this a key foundation is education. From private schools to public schools and colleges, every one of them learned the need for change.

The education sector that is growing at 16% annually is estimated to be a $ 798.28 billion markets by 2024. While other major sectors are facing depreciation, education has built a path leading to growth amid a pandemic situation.

There are many elements that took a roundabout in the education sector, but 2 essential elements took the big shift in 2020:

1.    Changed Functions of Education Settings

Schools have rapidly changed, even in the most basic aspects of their work. 10-15% of the schools have gone back to becoming old schools of correspondence, while the majority of them have recreated the school setting online. Some educational settings are wishing for things to go back to how it was, that is, in fact, natural, there is nothing that they did for this change to take place.

While there was a time when students took the long way traveling to school, with no other choice left. And this is one such aspect where a lot of people are comfortable with it. Schools now follow fully virtual instructions. Educational tools that were never known before have been getting adopted.  When virtual education and technology, is the larger part of today's education system, interacting, teaching, learning, and the fundamental functions of the performance procedure changed.

Education settings have now transformed into Virtual education through a large number of platforms: based on suitable preferences of class strength, teaching method, school type, and more. Some Virtual classroom platforms have taken high popularity today, they are:

·        ezTalks Webinar

·        Google Hangouts

·        Blackboard Collaborates

·        Adobe Connect

·        eTrainCenter Software

·        Zoom

Now is where personalized learning is done at home, without boards, physical presences, or anything that learning did a year ago.

2.    Modified Marketing and Sales to schools

To adapt to a changing world, education had to be changed along with it. This change resulted in a large number of changed methods in the ways businesses marketed to schools. A pandemic break-out could not stop the process of learning. When learning could never stop, the requirements in education never stopped either. The buying procedure for schools did not stop. Before the pandemic marketers approached schools with products as books, educational material, and education products and services that were needed in educational settings.

Schools lost the need for products or services that they needed before the crisis. Traditional buying methods were no more followed. The way they functioned had transformed, and so did their requirements. Their requirements now were more towards a digitalized environment and non-contact techniques. For instance when a marketer that markets to private schools choose to switch to email marketing, a private school email list is bought or built to make reaching out to them easier, and faster. Businesses that connected with schools now connected with them through digital marketing methods.

Some digital marketing methods schools followed were:

·        Content Marketing

·        SEO[ Search Engine Optimization]

·        PPC[Pay Per Click Advertising]

·        Email Marketing

·        Affiliate Marketing

·        SEM[ Search Engine Marketing]

The future of the education industry is the emerging transformation of digitalization and innovations. When the COVID-19 situation is set at ease, still the education system is likely to remain. The post-pandemic education landscape has a higher possibility of remote teaching, studying, and functioning. The virtual classes and online education have altered academics and shown the industry another effece8ient open door with success possibilities. The pandemic helped the education system push back, on the potential, of never ceasing.
