How do I become the 'expert'?
A lot of people would say that I have the perfect background to be an expert on identity theft. A lot of people would be wrong.
I have to be honest, when I first got involved I had a very tiny jump on others but that's all. 12 years working for a police department exposed me to people reporting becoming a victim but as far as a working knowledge? Nope, I did not have what it takes.
But now I can say that I do because I became the expert. It doesn't matter what opportunity you get into the most successful in that opportunity have that success because they worked at becoming the expert.
That's right wash my mouth out with soap because I used that dirty little four letter word-work. I had to put a lot of effort into learning about my field. That is how you become an expert. You have to educate yourself on the ins and outs of your field. you have to know the problems people will face and the solutions that you can provide but it doesn't stop there.
You have to know your competition. Can they offer a better solution than you can? How do they differ from you?
And it doesn't stop there. You become the expert but every industry faces constant change and you have to keep up with those changes. If you don't then someone will come along who does.
Being the expert is simple, but it's not easy. Simple because being the expert is all about educating yourself. It's not easy because it takes effort and often it means truly self educating. You may have to hunt down information on your own ans sift through what is valuable and what is not, but in the end it is to your benefit to do so.

Actually what people are getting on social networks or through hacking is a fraction of the information being gathered. Why mine data here and there when you can have someone sell you 100 employment Applications. Or you can simply surf the internet for government websites that have accidentally placed unencrypted date online. You can pay a waitress to take photos of credit cards with her cell phone.
It's all about identity theft rings today and hacking is very low on the totem pole. You inf

Identity theft precautions can be taking starting with the Bio information people place on social networks. Connecting education and profession makes all the difference. Once people land in jobs, they forget what they had learned. Knowing what one should do and not do plus accepting and learning from mistakes makes it easier to gain expertise.

That is true, but you still need a working knowledge. If you don't have a working knowledge of the basics, the less honest will take advantage of that and you ultimately suffer for it. But you do need to be the expert in your field. If it's going to be internet marketing you need to be an expert on internet marketing specifically and have a basic knowledge of everything else.
Lack of knowledge is exactly how most newbies get scammed. They don't know anything and along comes the gooroo promi

Since we can't be experts in everything, especially in the online marketing jungle, it's also good to do like Henry Ford did, i.e. surround yourself with people who are experts on the subjects which are essential but you don't have the time or interest to study.
