I'm a treasure seeker. Look at what I found in my skype. Marc is a good friend of mine and posted his experience to help us all.

I copied and pasted direct from Marc's conversation.

My niche is "Information/Referral Consultant"

I have learned in the cyber world of today that we have several concerns to be aware of which can easily change public perceptions of you and your product/service...

The issue which should be utmost to us all is that of security...

Perhaps you have been spared the embarrassment of getting "hacked" and then your good name being used to "phish" or "spam" others who are a part of your life...

I, like most of you, have done my utmost to attempt to thwart this occurrence...

My information and good name unfortunately has recently been victim...

There was one out there who was just smart enough to get into my Facebook account and HACK away, so please make certain you follow security protocol in order to protect not only yourself but those who are associated to you...

Should you find yourself in this position, immediately go and change all your passwords and notify Facebook of the intrusion to minimize the damage...

I was fortunate that a good friend noticed and contacted me right away, please do so for anyone you may know who is caught in this predicament, you are protecting them along with multitudes of others and yourself also...

Procedure dictates: Select "Account ", then "Help Center", then "Security" tabs...

I give you these since it took a while to decipher the proper protocol for an issue like this...

Some simple rules for us all to follow are:

Do not use the same password, when possible, for multiple accounts ~~ that way the intrusion would be minimal and less evasive...

Do not allow your password to be automatically filled in for you when logging into anything since this is like giving the key to intruders...

Set privacy protocol on public domains to a safe status, enough to get your message across but not enough to give away all your details...

We are all perhaps a bit lackadaisical at times since it is much easier to use technology in order to simplify our lives...

Heed this warning , security is a high priority, dealing with the ramifications can be very tedious and cumbersome not to mention embarrassing...

I hope that this information can help us all to keep up our guard...

We are all benefiting tremendously from the technology which we have available to us all on the internet today, be safe and secure...

Just had to pass this on and heighten everyone's awareness since we all expose ourselves to millions daily and want to present the best possible footprint in cyber space...

Thank you all for taking a moment out of your busy schedules to review this information and looking forward to invigorating and informative discussions...
