3 Required Elements of a Successful MLM Blog
If you hope to make it in network marketing today, a quality MLM blog is the best method of getting your name and face in front of people and branding yourself as an expert. There are many other ways to find interested people to join you in you business online as well as off, but your blog s your home online. Setting up and operating an MLM Blog is a lot of work, but can pay off big in the long run. The relationships you build can last a lifetime. All blogs require these 3 components: Content, Consistency and Keywords. This article will outline each one and why it is crucial.
Content: Fresh and Frequent
If you want to start your own MLM Blog, the first thing to remember is, you will need a constant flow of fresh content. A constant flow of fresh content is best for both your readers and the search engine spiders. While large quantities of content can be difficult to create, especially if you are new to blogging, there are a couple of tricks that can help. One idea is to go to related blogs and read what they are writing about. It's also a good idea to leave a comment while you are there to get a backlink to your blog. You could also be able to find ideas for blog post topics from listening to training calls or from training webinars that your company or others provide. You can also post other people's material on your blog. The thing to remember is, you cannot change ANYTHING. You have to post the entire post, including their links, into your blog giving credit and a link back to the original post. To avoid Google seeing it as duplicate, simply write a short paragraph at the beginning explaining what you found, and another at the end telling why you liked this post. Doing an entire MLM Blog like this will never get you thought of as an expert, but it can help boost search rankings.
Consistency: Blogging Daily
If you hope to see any degree of success with your MLM Blog you will have write consistently. Most experts will tell you, to get the search engines to notice your site and start crawling it, you will need to post daily for at least 6 weeks. Twice a day for that time is even better. Personally, when I started my blog, I posted once a day and then added a second post 2 or 3 times a week. You can eventually start to cut back, but you will still want to post at least 3 or 4 times a week. A post a day is always a safe bet though. The more fresh content you can provide, the better for both your readers and the search engine spiders Writing daily can be a chore, so if it works better for you, take some time, say on a weekend, and write several posts. If you stay ahead on your writing it makes things a LOT easier. I use this method for my Daily MLM Tip Blog and it works quite well. I keep a word document on my Blackberry that I can open and write in wherever I am, whenever I have a few minutes.
Keywords: Google Can't See You Without Them
The best laid out website int eh world is useless if nobody sees it. You have got to bring traffic to it. This is especially important if you are starting an MLM Blog. People are searching on the Internet every day for a site exactly like yours. So, how can they find YOUR site? With Keywords of course. Through the process of keyword research, on site optimization and creating lots of backlinks, all based around your keywords, you can get almost any page ranked highly on the search engines. The trick is in the keywords you use. Researching ones that have enough people searching for them without being overly competitive is the tough part. If you visit the SEO page of my blog you will find a more detailed explanation of this process.

You are absolutely right Hestee. That goes for any blog. If your content is not informative and/or entertaining, you will have a hard time getting people to come back.
